FETISHISTS: Psychology & Management of a Fetishist
Anne presents a full class on the topic of fetishists and how to manage a fetishist.
The term "fetish" is often mistakenly believed to be a person's interest or like. However as Anne discusses, a fetish is far more intense and consuming than a mere "like".
A true fetish is something which is found to be super-arousing, is sought out as a sexual turn-on, and is remarkably consistent for the duration of a person's life.
Typically a fetish is formed in pre-adolescence in an event which combined fear, intense arousal and taboo. The "thing" was usually revisited in the mind's imagination, often masturbated to many times after the event itself and causing intense arousal, strengthening the neural pathway association in the brain.
Anne advises people to never underestimate the power of the fetish for someone who is a fetishist. For the person's partner, it may just be an object or thing, for the person with the fetish it is an elevated sublime thing with magical effect upon them. And will be so, likely for all time.
Anne discusses the most common fetishes, and similar themes which run through them, including:
- Second skin fetishes (latex, leather, PVC, fur, silk, hoisery)
- Talon effect fetishes (stilettos, spikes, nails)
- Impression or punctuation conjunction fetishes (balloon popping, cane swishing and hitting, strangulation, body weight application, etc)
- Elevated sublime bodily fetishes (foot fetish, leg fetish, buttock fetish, breast fetish, hair fetish, golden shower fetish, etc)
-
How one can understand and accommodate fetishes, wear and uphold, elevate and play with the fetish, and how one can reinvent the fetish many ways to avoid repetition boredom for the partner.
