Pulse Solo Essential

What Is It?

The Pulse Solo Essential by Hot Octopuss is one of the most innovative penis toys ever created. And one of the few that genuinely bridges the gap between pleasure, rehabilitation and accessibility.

Unlike traditional strokers that rely on repetitive hand movements, the Pulse Solo uses patented PulsePlate™ oscillation technology to stimulate the most sensitive areas of the penis through powerful, targeted vibrations. The flexible silicone wings sit around the shaft, allowing the toy to be used while erect, semi-erect or even flaccid.

That makes it a game-changer for people experiencing erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer recovery, reduced hand strength, fatigue, neurological conditions or mobility challenges. It can be used hands-free, requires minimal grip strength and doesn't rely on a firm erection to provide pleasurable stimulation.

Whether you're looking for intense pleasure, penile rehabilitation support, or a different way to experience arousal after illness, injury or surgery, the Pulse Solo offers possibilities that many other penis toys simply can't.

Why We Love It

Most penis toys assume one thing:

That you have a firm erection and two hands available.

The Pulse Solo throws that assumption out the window.

Originally inspired by penile vibratory stimulation technology used with people who have spinal cord injuries, Hot Octopuss developed the Pulse range specifically to make sexual pleasure more accessible. The result is a toy that works brilliantly for all kinds of bodies - not just the ones typically represented in sex toy advertising.

We regularly recommend the Pulse Solo to customers navigating:

  • Erectile dysfunction (ED)
  • Prostate cancer recovery
  • Penile rehabilitation
  • Reduced sensation
  • Disability and mobility challenges
  • Arthritis and hand pain
  • Fatigue and chronic illness
  • Confidence rebuilding after treatment

Because unlike many penis toys, it doesn't demand that your body perform in a particular way first.

For rehabilitation, the strong oscillating stimulation can help promote arousal, encourage blood flow and reconnect people with pleasurable sensation after treatment or surgery. Many prostate cancer patients tell us that one of the hardest parts of recovery is feeling disconnected from their sexual selves. The Pulse Solo can help make pleasure feel accessible again.

For pleasure, it's simply fantastic.

The stimulation feels completely different from a conventional stroker. Instead of repetitive friction, the PulsePlate creates deep, focused oscillations against the frenulum and shaft. Many users describe orgasms as more intense, more whole-body and less dependent on vigorous movement or a strong erection.

Passionfruit Says

"If we could only stock one penis vibrator, this would probably be it. The Pulse Solo isn't just clever - it's genuinely life-changing for some people. We've recommended it to customers recovering from prostate cancer, people living with disability, those experiencing erectile dysfunction and plenty of people who simply want stronger, more effortless orgasms. What we love most is that it removes pressure. Pressure to perform. Pressure to stay hard. Pressure to do things the 'normal' way. It reminds people that pleasure is still possible, even when their body has changed. And that's incredibly powerful."

For many people, the Pulse Solo isn't just a sex toy.

It's a confidence builder, a rehabilitation tool, an accessibility aid and a reminder that sexuality doesn't disappear because your body works differently than it used to. 💜

No pulse on Pulse Solo Essential.

I purchased this item following my radical prostatectomy and upon the advice of my physio. Deliver was prompt. I charged and used the Pulse 5 times before it stopped working. Despite being fully charged the device would work for 10 seconds or less and then turn off. I could hear a clicking sound when I tried to turn it on. After the large cost it is disapppointing and upsetting the item is not working. Can you help out?

Hi R.H., Sorry this has been your experience with the Pulse Solo. Please return it so we can establish the fault and issue a replacement.

Such a confidence booster.

After my prostatectomy I thought it was over for me. Little did I know that orgasms are not reliant on erections. This little wonder works every time.

Pulse Solo Essential

The original Hot Octopuss Pulse was pretty basic but it introduced me to the joys of frenulum stimulation, both the exquisite build up and edging along with the mind-blowing orgasm at the end. The current Pulse Essential Solo is still fairly basic, I suppose: no remote controls or apps or synchronising with your playlists. But it does what it sets out to do, and does it very well I reckon. The pulsing is way more stronger and intense than the earlier model (I feel I need to tone it down if I want the session to last); the pleasure almost immediate; the five or so pulsing patterns provide for greater variety; it still works whether you’re soft or hard; and it’s hands-free (no need to stroke). I’ve no point of brand comparison when it comes to other guybrators, but if the Pulse has worked for you in the past, you’ll enjoy the Solo Essential.

Haven’t had much of a chance as yet to assess. Had a prostatectomy in August so still working through the effects of that. Feels good so far. Very quick delivery of product. Thanks.

Penile rehab support

Taking advise from “Touchy Subject” I included the Solo in my rehab program. The purchase process was pain free and delivery according to schedule. The product has been successful and remains a useful part of my program. Radical Prostatectomy in May 22.

That's so great to hear Bruce. All the best with your continuing rehab journey.
