Dorcel Hydro Pump
What Is It?
The Dorcel Hydro Pump is an unusual 2 in 1 penis pump that can be used with either air or water, giving you the choice of traditional dry pumping or hydro pumping in the shower or bath.
Like other penis pumps, it creates a vacuum around the penis, drawing blood into the erectile tissue to create temporary fullness and an erection. What makes this one particularly versatile is being able to choose how that vacuum is created.
It also includes three different silicone sleeves to help achieve a comfortable fit and good seal, plus a clear chamber with measurements so changes during a pumping session are easy to see.
Why We Love It
Most penis pumps make you choose between air pumping and hydro pumping. This one does both.
Use it with air when you want the convenience of pumping anywhere without water, or fill the chamber with warm water and use it as a hydro pump in the shower or bath.
Hydro pumping feels quite different. Water surrounds the penis inside the chamber and distributes pressure more evenly, which some people find particularly comfortable. Air pumping, meanwhile, is simple, familiar and considerably more convenient when there's no shower involved.
We also really like the three silicone sleeves. Getting a good seal is one of the most important parts of successful pumping, and having different sizes gives much more flexibility for different bodies.
Best For
• People curious about hydro pumping
• Anyone wanting both air and water pumping in one device
• Creating temporary penile fullness and erections
• Exploring vacuum stimulation for pleasure
• People who find a good pump seal difficult to achieve
• Shower and bath play
• Anyone wanting more versatility than a standard air pump
Not Ideal For
• Anyone wanting a very simple manual pump
• People who only need a basic rehabilitation pump
• Anyone wanting a completely submersible device
• People specifically requiring a medical grade vacuum erection device
Passionfruit Says
"The clever bit here is choice. Use it dry as a conventional air pump when that's convenient, or take it into the shower or bath and experiment with hydro pumping. Add three different silicone sleeves for getting a good seal and this is a genuinely versatile pump rather than another clear tube with suction attached."
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I really use it with both air and water?
Yes. That's the big difference between this and most penis pumps. It can create vacuum using traditional air pressure or be filled with water for hydro pumping.
What's the difference between air pumping and water pumping?
Both create a vacuum around the penis. Air pumping is convenient because it can be done dry almost anywhere. Hydro pumping surrounds the penis with water during pumping, creating a different sensation and more evenly distributed pressure.
Do I need to use it in the bath?
No. That's the beauty of this particular pump. Use it dry with air, or use water mode in the shower or bath.
Why does it come with three silicone sleeves?
A good seal against the body is essential for creating vacuum. The different sleeves help accommodate different bodies and make it easier to find a comfortable, effective seal.
Can a penis pump help create an erection?
Yes. Vacuum pressure draws blood into the penis, creating temporary engorgement and an erection. A suitable constriction ring can then be used after pumping if maintaining that erection for sexual activity is the goal.
Can I use it for penis rehabilitation?
Vacuum therapy can form part of penile rehabilitation, including after prostate cancer treatment. However, for rehabilitation we generally prefer pumps specifically selected for that purpose, where pressure control, cylinder fit and the individual's treatment history can all matter. Our sexology team can help with choosing the most appropriate option.
Is it waterproof?
It is rated IPX6, meaning it is designed to cope with strong water exposure, including shower use, but it should not be treated as a fully submersible waterproof device.
