Here's what you can expect

Choosing the right lubricant can be the difference between a happy, healthy lover and a screaming banshee. Meet with one of our expert Lubrarians and, after an in-depth consultation, find the perfect lubricant for you.

Important information about this consultation

Why book a 15-Min Lubricant Consultation?

The right lubricant can be the difference between a happy, healthy vagina and a screaming banshee. Additionally, using the wrong lube on your most sensitive parts can create the opposite effect of what was originally intended. Whether you experience sensitivity when it comes to lube, have had bad experiences in the past, are recovering from injury, illness or surgery, or simply want better recommendations, a chat with our expert Lubrarians could be just what you need for a more satisfying pleasure practice.

What you can expect in this session?

An informative 15-minute session with our resident Lubrarians to discuss the most harmonious lubricant/s to suit your pleasure preferences. From formulation to application, we'll explore (and explain) the various kinds of lube on offer, before providing you with recommendations to support you unique needs.

Please note: While we aim to provide pleasure informed recommendations, this does not count as medical or psychological advice. If further medical or psychological advice is required, we recommend speaking to a GP or medical professional.

In-store consultation location

Our one-on-one consultations are conducted in-person at our bricks-and-mortar store: Passionfruit the Sensuality Shop, 414 Brunswick St, Fitzroy, VIC 3065.

Our 15-minute lubricant consultations are FREE. For longer discussions and to discuss issues such as chronic bacterial vaginosis (BV), thrush or lichen sclerosus with a sexologist, we recommend booking a 60-min Private Consultation (which attracts a fee).

Fin

They/Them

Currently completing a Master of Public Health, Finula will be the one to change Australia’s sex education curriculum to be more comprehensive and pleasure-informed. They identify as non-binary and bisexual, and are interested in sexual health and pleasure within LGBTQI+ identities.

Fin understands that it can be challenging to scour through all of the possible educational resources on sexual health, queer identities, and books for parents with queer or trans children. So, they specialise in sourcing well-informed, inclusive and comprehensive resources to support parents and teens during the sometimes overwhelming period that accompanies adulthood.

In-store you’ll find Fin sharing toy, lube and harness recommendations for safe and fun anal play. Outside of Passionfruit, you’ll find them with a smile on their face and a cat, George Michael, on their lap.

Tori

She/Her

Tori is a functional sexologist with a comprehensive background in sexual health, rehabilitation, and education. A graduate of Curtin University, she brings over a decade of expertise from her work at Passionfruit The Sensuality Shop, where she supports individuals and couples in their journey toward sexual confidence and wellbeing.

Specialising in skin sensitivities (including lubricants, condoms, vaginal dryness, irritation, recurrent thrush, and menopause-related changes), GPPPD (vaginismus, vulvodynia), erectile dysfunction, and post-prostatectomy rehabilitation, Tori combines evidence-based knowledge with compassionate, practical guidance. Her work focuses on helping clients navigate both the functional and emotional aspects of sexual recovery, supporting them to rebuild confidence, comfort, and pleasure after illness, surgery, or life transitions.

Her professional impact extends beyond the clinic and retail floor, Tori has delivered a keynote address for the Australian Association of Stomal Therapy Nurses (AASTN), facilitated workshops at the Asia-Pacific Prostate Cancer Conference (APCC), and presented to numerous community and professional groups including the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) and major Melbourne hospitals. Her sessions on sexual wellness and rehabilitation are now part of regular staff training programs across multiple hospital networks.

Tori has also developed a comprehensive program of Professional Development (PD) courses for health professionals, designed to build confidence in addressing sexuality, pleasure, and rehabilitation in clinical settings.

Before her sexology career, Tori worked in education, plastic surgery, and skincare, experiences that shaped her holistic and approachable style. When she’s not teaching or consulting, she can be found gaming, tinkering with furniture, doting on her dog Lady Betsy Sugar, or designing custom pieces for her leatherwear label, Lady Bellentina.

A lifelong learner and advocate for sexual wellbeing, Tori continues to bridge the gap between pleasure and healthcare, creating accessible, inclusive, and empowering conversations about sexuality.
