Once you understand the foundations of dominance and submission, where can you take it next?

Deeper into D/s is a two-hour workshop for people who want to move beyond simply experimenting with dominant and submissive roles and begin creating more intentional, nuanced and satisfying power-exchange experiences.

You might already have some experience with D/s, be developing an ongoing dynamic, or have completed our Introduction to Dominance & Submission workshop earlier in the day and want to continue exploring.

Led by kink educator, professional Dom and qualified sexologist The Artyst Kiink, this workshop takes a deeper look at the psychology and practice of power exchange: how authority is created, how submissive responses can differ, and how communication, structure, protocols and intention can transform a collection of kinky activities into a meaningful D/s experience.

Importantly, this isn't just a workshop for Dominants. Understanding what's happening on both sides of the power exchange can make you a better Dominant, submissive or switch.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Building on the fundamentals, we'll explore areas including:

• Moving from individual kinky activities into intentional power exchange
• Developing your own style of dominance or submission
• Creating authority as a Dominant without relying on clichés or performance
• Understanding the needs and responses of different submissives
• The four elements of submission and how they can influence a dynamic
• Developing protocols and rituals with purpose
• Using position training within an established dynamic
• Structuring a scene with greater intention
• Building anticipation, tension and psychological engagement
• Reading and responding to your partner within a scene
• Balancing structure and spontaneity
• Navigating vulnerability and emotionally intense experiences
• Communication within ongoing D/s relationships
• What to do when a scene or dynamic doesn't go according to plan
• Debriefing, aftercare and learning from your experiences
• How D/s relationships and power dynamics can evolve over time

Rather than giving you a formula for the "right" way to do D/s, this workshop is about developing a deeper toolkit and learning how to build dynamics that work for the actual people involved.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?

This workshop is designed for people who already have some understanding or experience of D/s, as well as anyone attending the Introduction to Dominance & Submission workshop earlier in the day.

You might be dominant, submissive, switch, exploring with a partner or simply interested in developing a more sophisticated understanding of power exchange.

You do not need to be in an established D/s relationship to attend.

The Artyst Kiink — Kink Educator, Professional Dom & Qualified Sexologist

With more than 11 years' experience in kink and alternative relationships, The Artyst Kiink has taught workshops in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and London.

His approach combines sexology, professional experience and practical kink education to explore not only what people do within D/s, but the communication, psychology and intention that sit behind it.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is an informal, inclusive educational workshop for all genders, sexualities and relationship structures.

Many participants attend alone, while others come with a partner or friend. There's no expectation to share personal information or participate in anything you're uncomfortable with.

Places are limited to 30 participants.

Single Workshop — $65
Sunday D/s Pass — $110 (both workshops, save $20)
Full Weekend Pass — $199 (all four weekend workshops, save $61)

You don't need to print your ticket — we'll have your name at the door.

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the workshop. Unfortunately, we can't offer refunds for no-shows or cancellations made within 72 hours.

Accessibility: Our workshop space is upstairs above the Passionfruit store and requires climbing approximately 20 stairs. If you have accessibility concerns, please contact us before booking.
